I Can't Wait For This SUMMER

        Summers are the best because so many things happen. The thing that I like most about summer is the people you spend it with. They have to be both your friends and family; and I have awesome friends and a big loving family. I like to go in my pool and to get tans. I enjoy having pool parties and just having people over for anything. My family is so open to everyone that if you just stop by to say hi, you end up staying the day with us till late at night. I also find myself more active and athletic in the summer, because you are so happy and jumpy and you just run around or swim or do anything that keeps you happy. I love my family especially my parents because it’s by their permission that I am allowed to have people over. I couldn’t do anything without them.

 

         

          I would like to have this blog’s topic be about not only summers and friends but about my family, the people I love. My parents give my family much more than we deserve, and even though we, my sisters and brother and I, make them mad a lot, they put that behind them and just are happy to have the family that they have. At every party that we have at our house it is always nice to see my parents see how our family has grown not only ourselves in age but with our relationships with our friends. What I realize is that what I have is far more valuable than anything I have. I think that I would not be in the position I am, if it weren’t for my family and friends.

SUPPORT 1-Women should have control over their own bodies:Young mothers have to carry the child during pregnancy and undergo child-birth. No-one else carries the child for her; it will be her responsibility alone, and she should have the right to decide weather to terminate the fetus.

SUPPORT 2-At what point does a life begin?:You can say that a fetus is not a humane bean. Not everyone agrees that fetuses of two, four, eight, or even twenty weeks are children yet. Are we really talking about a ‘life?’ At what point does a life begin??

SUPPORT 3-In some cases it is necessary to terminate a pregnancy for a medical emergency:There are cases in which it is necessary to terminate a pregnancy, lest the mother and/or the child die. In such cases of medical emergency and in the interest of saving life, surely it is permissible to abort the fetus.

Support 4-It is not just medical emergency Woman, and in some cases girls, who have been raped should not have to suffer the additional torment:Young teenagers shouldn’t have to suffer or pass thru the additional torment of being pregnant with the product of that ordeal. To force a woman to produce a living, constant reminder of that act is unfair on both mother and child. The suffer the additional torment of being pregnant with the child’s father maybe you don’t no even know well.

SUPORT 5-Sometimes some kids might come out with disabilities that parents or young mothers don’t have time to take care or pay for the medical bills:Finally, due to advances in medical technology it is possible to determine during pregnancy whether the child will be disabled. In cases of severe disability, in which the child would have a very short life, and very painful and tragic life, it is surely the right course of action to allow the parents to choose a termination.

hhhmmm? Food to me is awesome, cant live without it (literally). My favorite food is pretty much everything as long as it is edible and taste good i'll eat it. Like in my household there is always something cooking mostly soul food like; Macaroni and Cheese (homemade not like store bought or that Kraft's Box Macaroni and Cheese), Collard Greens, Green beans, Sweet Peas, Chicken (baked and fried) Turkey is pretty much only on Christmas and Thanksgiving. Anyways there's also Corn Bread, Stuffing, Honey Baked Ham, Potatoe Salad, sometimes Baked Ziti and all this great stuff that is delicious also there's a mixture of Jamaican Foods like Curry Chicken, Rice and Peas, Plantain. Now dessert there's Cakes, Pies, Puddings, and homemade Ice Cream, and Beverages Homemade Lemonade. All that food listed above is made every Sunday, but sometimes eating this food all the time can be unhealty because its made with alot of oils and fats and all that, so when you come to my house make a small plate.

Summers, Barbeques, and Sleepovers

1st: SUMMERS

        Summers are the best. I like all the other seasons too, but I think that summer is the best. I enjoy summer because it’s so hot. I also like summer because there is a lot of stuff to do. Most of all, I think summer is the best because I enjoy not going to school. School is also fun, but at times I think that it can be very boring. I think that I have summer around me all the time because in the winter and spring I and my family go to Florida.  Whenever I think of summer I get over – excited.

          2^nd: Barbeques

          Barbeques are like summer, there the best. I am pretty sure that everyone likes to eat. Another thing that is fun about barbeques is that you get invited over to people’s houses or you invite people to your house. Being with people just makes me happy because I am not by myself. (Even though that I have a huge family) What I also like about barbeques is that the food is so good. What are usually served at barbeques are hotdogs, hamburgers, sausages, and more. I LOVE barbeques.

          3^rd: Sleepovers

          Sleepovers are like summers and barbeques, there the best. I think that sleepovers are one of the best things I like doing with my friends, after spending the whole day with them. Sometimes if my parents and my friends parents except, it we have double sleepovers. That means that we have sleepovers day after day. Sometimes it gets farther into triple or quadruple. The farthest it got was six days in a row. I have my friend’s sleepover every single weekend. I also go on trips with my friends to New Hampshire, Florida, and many more places. We enjoy every single second with each other.

USES OF IRON

Iron makes cars, trucks, and vans. It can also make steel. We need iron for making building supports. Airplanes are made out of iron. I am pretty sure Obama needs a lot of iron because iron makes warships. If you want to go on a cruise you need iron because it makes ship. In an office the tools are made out of iron (staples, nails, and paper clips.)Computers need iron in order to function. Iron is (finally) use for furniture.

Iron was discovered around the year 1100 B.C. although the discoverer is unknown (most likely a man named Og!)

Iron has a lot to do with science because of what it contains. It has 26 protons, 30 neutrons, and 26 electrons (Protons and Electrons are the same.)

The reason why iron is the best element is its role in oxygenating the blood. In some foods there is iron, and that’s why most of the time those foods are vegetables. Some of them have some iron in them.

Square Watermelons

Aren’t these watermelons cool? They are square. These types of watermelons are mostly found in Zentsuji, Japan. Watermelons are put in boxes and glass cases when they are growing and they swell up and form into the shape of a square. People say it makes eating a watermelon easier. They are going on sale October 2001 for five dollars or less. The melons are very safe to eat. They Japanese did it because of the “lack of space”. Each watermelon is about eighty three dollars. That is triple the prices of there normal watermelons in Japan. In 2006, Tesco planed to sell the watermelonsto UKand Brazil. Some people consider the square watermelons as cider blocks. They are very heavy.

Sunday, February 1^st 2009 was such a relaxing day. Of course it is because it was a Sunday and there wasn’t any school. I got to sleep more than usual. Then I woke up, and I was woken up by the smell of waffles. I studied for church. Then I went to take a shower. After that I went to, two of my best friends piano recital. It was so nice and I really enjoyed it. There were a lot of other people that played very well. But I think my favorite was both of my best friends. The last person that played was very nice, relaxing, and most definitely long.  

I also play piano. Piano used to be my life; until the babies came and I had to help out.  I could care less about piano if I didn’t have my baby brothers and sisters. My piano teacher said that he was too busy; so while I am looking for a teacher I am practicing all different types of music. I am trying my best to learn how to play piano on my own; but I know how to play piano so it’s easy. I am always ready to play piano.

I and my best friends are very close. So while we are playing duets and many other things on the piano; I am learning more and more. I know how to play piano so all I need is the notes. I do so many things. I like to play piano but I prefer to play guitar. So in order to get to guitar I have to learn how to play piano first. Besides, my friends play piano so why shouldn’t I. I have to learn in steps, so this is part of my steps. Besides, I rather know how to multiple instruments then just one.

Is Needle Art Cool Or What?

Is needle art cool or what? I love it! I think it’s unique and creative. Needle Art is when you are making art in the eye of the needle. You can make anything. For example, you can make a wolf, elephant, and the royal family, the thinker, Elvis, Snow White, the 7 Dwarfs, and the Wicked Witch, the Statue of Liberty, Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, Alice in wonderland, a ballerina, a golfer, a doll’s house, The Wizard of Oz, a heart, people, and more. They are made from dust fibers, dust particles, human hair, fiber, spider webs, and fly’s hairs. The person who made needle art made needle art because he didn’t know how to read or write (he had learning difficulties) and his teachers made him feel small. Willard Wigan is the creator of needle art. He sold his whole collection of needle art to a collector named David Lloyd (famous ex-tennis player) for $20 million dollars. Willard Wigan was born, raised, and lives in Birmingham, England. You can see his art work at the David Lloyd Museum. It was an obsession that started at the age of five. He first started making ant houses. The Ant houses were the size of a human blood cell. Willard Wigan wants to try to prove that “nothing doesn’t exist and that less can be more”.
