I think the book small steps is a grate book because it still has some of the main people like Armpit & X-Ray. I think kids ages 10-15 will enjoy this book as much as I did. I think this book is also for adults ages 40-58. This book is about X-ray asking Armpit for a favor. He wants Armpit to give him money to buy tickets to a concert.
He wants the tickets so he can re-sell them for more money. But when he gets the tickets he wants more money for an ad ( a spot in the newspaper that has stuff for sale or rent).
I think of this book as a boy trying not to trouble with his friend. He is trying to really turn his life around & he does not act like people think he does. He’s trying to make a difference in his life from camp green lake. I know I am not the only kid/adult that thinks this book is good.
“His prose is clear and relaxed, and funny in a low-key, observant way.”–New York Times“. Part of what makes Small Steps so believable and appealing is that its characters do have insecurities, and they aren’t ashamed to let them show.” –BookPage
